Yovale's runtime is Docker Compose per site, Traefik for the edge, and a thin agent that translates dashboard actions into container operations. Provision a new site and the whole stack stands up in under a minute.
Traefik handles routing, TLS termination and HTTP/3. Cloudflare sits in front for global cache and DDoS protection.
Every site gets its own WordPress container, its own MariaDB container, optional Redis. Bound memory, dedicated workers, isolated filesystem.
A FastAPI agent on each VPS executes provisioning, backups, SSL operations and PHP config changes. The dashboard issues HMAC-signed calls — same path as the API.

How do migrations work?+
Send us a backup file (WPVivid, UpdraftPlus, All-in-One — any format) or give us SFTP access. Most sites are live on Yovale within a few hours, with no downtime on the old host.
What WordPress versions are supported?+
WordPress 6.6+ runs out of the box. Older versions work but won't receive PHP 8.4 deprecation patches. We recommend upgrading WP first, then migrating.
Do I get root or SFTP access?+
SFTP and WP-CLI access on every site. No root access to the container — that's how we keep isolation honest. If you need root, see the bring-your-own-server option.
Where are the servers?+
Multiple regions globally. New sites provision to the region closest to your dashboard signup unless you pick another. We don't host in India or the EU's Schrems II grey zones.
What's not included?+
Email hosting (use Fastmail or Gmail), CDN bandwidth above 1TB/mo (Cloudflare's free tier covers this for almost everyone), and managed Elasticsearch/Solr (not a typical WP need).
How does pricing renew?+
Same price every year. We don't do introductory discounts that double on renewal.
