microsoft clarity heatmaps native on every site.
paste a Clarity project ID, save, and the snippet renders gated behind analytics consent. heatmaps, session recordings, dead-click detection — all free from Microsoft, all running on a hardened Yovale origin without an extra WordPress plugin.
free trial. no credit card. all 30 integrations included on every plan.
Clarity layers inside every wordpress site.
Clarity is the cheapest serious heatmap product on the market — Microsoft gives it away to feed Bing's product team. The barrier isn't cost, it's the install: most WordPress hosts make you add a Clarity plugin, then a consent banner plugin, then a cache-bypass rule.
see where visitors actually click and scroll.
Clarity captures click density, scroll depth, and dead clicks — all free, all retroactive. heatmaps populate after the first ~1000 visits and update continuously.
watch the actual moment your conversion broke.
Clarity records every session — scroll, click, hover, form input. masked by default for sensitive fields. play back the journey of any visitor who bounced, abandoned cart, or hit a 404.
microsoft gives clarity away. we give the install away too.
Clarity is free. There is no upsell tier. Microsoft uses the aggregate behavioral data to improve Bing's product team — that's the trade. For most WordPress sites, it's the cheapest serious heatmap product on the market.
paste your project ID. start recording.
Yovale validates the Clarity project ID shape at save. the MU-plugin renders the snippet in `<head>` and gates it behind the visitor's analytics consent state.

questions before you switch hosts for Clarity.
Is Microsoft Clarity actually free?
Yes. Microsoft offers Clarity at no cost, including session recordings, heatmaps, dead-click detection, and rage-click analysis. There are no per-session limits or upsell tiers.
Does Clarity respect EU consent?
Yovale gates Clarity behind the analytics consent signal. If the visitor declined analytics cookies, the Clarity snippet doesn't render. Microsoft's own SDK also has consent flags, but the Yovale gate runs before that.
Will session recording capture sensitive form fields?
Clarity masks input fields by default. You can configure additional masking rules inside the Clarity dashboard. Yovale's injector doesn't change Clarity's privacy defaults.
Can I run Clarity alongside GA4 and Hotjar?
Yes. They serve different purposes — Clarity for free heatmaps + recordings, GA4 for events, Hotjar for surveys. All three coexist in the same tracking panel.
Will the page cache break Clarity?
No. The snippet is part of the cached HTML. Recording happens client-side and isn't affected by edge caching.
